Missouri Straight Applejack

Our Missouri Straight Applejack is a unique collaboration with KC Wineworks. We took their Äpfel Cider, triple distilled it, and aged it in Missouri Bourbon barrels. The result is a smooth and fruit-forward spirit. The tasting notes include baked apple, oak, vanilla, and spices. Its apple-driven sweetness, accompanied by a hint of tartness, makes this limited edition spirit the perfect choice for sipping neat or as a creative base in classic whiskey cocktail recipes.

For the eighth installment of our Machine series, we’re proud to offer you a 100% Missouri spirit, from grain to glass!
MIssouri Apple Brandy is the result of a collaboration between Tom’s Town and KC Wineworks. We distilled this brandy from Crossroads Apfel, a dry cider made with locally-sourced, Missouri apples. Then we aged it for two years in white American oak bourbon barrels – also from Missouri. The result is a crisp and rich spirit with the heft of whiskey and the distinct flavors of apple, caramel, and buttery spice.

Our seventh release in the Machine series is a collaboration with Lagunitas Brewing and a salute to our two LIV Super Bowl championship teams. We have created a second batch in celebration of this year’s playoffs. This delicious and complex whiskey starts out with the wort from Lagunitas Sucks beer, a beloved and retired brand that lends the whiskey notes of oatmeal and sweet molasses. We distilled it at Tom’s Town and aged in new white American oak barrels for more than two years.

The Machine No. 6: Gingersnap Whiskey is a collaboration between Kansas City’s Double Shift Brewing and Tom’s Town. We distilled their big and boozy Gingersnap Beer and aged it for eight months in 15-gallon white American oak barrels. The result is a warm and rich malt whiskey with notes of ginger, molasses and cinnamon. This uniquely Kansas City whiskey makes a delicious holiday cocktail, but we enjoy it most straight up.
